Georgia Division of Child and Family Services through a contract with Georgia State University
CSF is working with the Monitoring and Technical Assistance Team (MTAT) to provide parties progress reports on the extent to which the child welfare system in Georgia is meeting the expectations of the Modified Consent Decree and Exit Plan, helping to build capacity within the child welfare system and providing technical assistance to leaders in Georgia’s child welfare system.
The Center for the Support of Families, in partnership with other members of the Monitoring and Technical Assistance Team (MTAT) are responsible for:
- Serving on the Monitoring and Technical Assistance Team (MTAT) for the “Kenny A.” Consent Decree;
- Monitoring the progress of the Department of Human Resources toward meeting the goals of the Decree;
- Assisting the Department in meeting those goals; and
- Preparing reports detailing the Department’s progress.
