Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement
CSF has a team working with the Expanded Federal Parent Locator Service on a variety of data access issues. CSF also supports OCSE’s work with employers in child support collections and new hire reporting.
Our Data Access team provides legal advice as well as help to draft agreements between OCSE and its partner federal and state agencies regarding the access and use of data contained in the federal National Directory of New Hires. The team analyzes legal authority and privacy requirements and provides legal analyses to other members of the Data Access team, most recently related to state TANF and SNAP agencies, SSA, DOL research requests, and reimbursement agreements with all OCSE matching partners.
Our Employer Services team provides training and technical assistance to employers in their critical work collecting child support using income withholding and required reporting of data on new employees.
